Soccertes began in the early 1970s as a promotional cartoon for the New York Cosmos. Clive Toye, the club’s general manager, wanted to introduce a game most Americans didn’t yet understand, so he brought in Disney artist Milt Neil to give it a face. A smiling ball. A team of animals. A handful of sketches, a few concepts, and some early t-shirts.
Then the run ended. The artwork was boxed up and left in storage for more than fifty years.

The sketches resurfaced decades later, found by Clive’s grandson, Cameron Jones, while clearing out family storage. The history was reason enough to keep them. The fact that his grandfather had started it made it personal.
Today Soccertes is a lifestyle brand building the world around football, carried forward by the same family that boxed those sketches away. Fifty years on, the idea Clive Toye started has come full circle. Clothing and design are still the primary medium, but the work runs across events, storytelling, art, and documentaries. Football is the catalyst, not the destination: what matters is the culture around the game, the people, the creativity, the fashion, the music, the stories, and the communities it builds.
Clothing & Design
The primary medium. Heavyweight cottons and considered cuts, made to last well past the final whistle.
Events & Stories
Storytelling, creative projects, and the moments that bring the culture together off the pitch.
Art & Film
From the original archive to documentary. Football as a lens on the people and places that carry it.
